I won't lie to you. It's tough. Sometimes it's bang-your-head-against-a-wall tough. I want to scream somedays. Heck, who am I kidding? I do scream somedays. But... still. I wake up every morning, put on my teaching cap and "go to work".
Today I remembered why. This is why.
Not the clearest picture, but you get the gist.
(Middle of the day, she finds the spent plumeria leaves and decides she wants to wear them while she finishes math.
When they got too heavy, she moved on to a lion mask.)
For now, I am going to keep on doing what I do. I threaten to quit at least once a week, but I may never have the chance to spend this kind of time with my kids again. I love my shorties. So if you ever wonder why I do this every day just like I have for the past 15 months - now you know. This is why.

I keep looking for the "like" button. Do HS for as long as you feel it's the best thing for your family. It's truly a time to cherish!!!!
Keep up the good work, Mishel. You, Et and Esther will look back on this experience and be so glad that you made the effort. I know it's a lot of work and hassle, but you will treasure this time with your children.
My fuchsia has been inside for about a month and has lots of new growth and one bud. Thanks for the encouragement.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Love,
Dixie
but... no, i mean AND from the conversation i had with you i KNOW you are doing an amazing job. I think it especially hard when you are also the parent because the lines are not a clear. You're planting the seeds and when you least expect it the harvest will (and does) come.
You tried to walk a cat? Don't you know that their job is to slink along beside you, just out of reach?
Love the bake-off stuff. Keep at it.
xoxo and Happy New decade.
aahhhh!!! I LOVE those ears!
